Our Ballerina's Debut....

This past weekend Meggan had her first (and only HA) ballet recital. She did an AMAZING job and we are soo proud of her. She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time. It was great to see that she was not too scared up on the stage.

Her song was Little Miss American Beauty Queen. And her costume was quite beautiful. She is very excited to get to keep it and now wear it whenever her little heart desires. She has had to spend several months just looking at it and not touching it.

She felt so special having Jack, Ally, Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Stacy, Grandma Jean, Nama and Papa at the show. We had front row seats which I think helped to make her feel at ease while performing. It has been a long 9 mos. of ballet and we are glad to have a break from it now. Meggan will be moving on to bigger and better things in the fall with Irish Dancing. YEAH!!

Ally sending Hugs!

Ally wanted me to take her picture today, so I did because I did not want to hear any screaming. HA! Plus she was posing so cute I couldn't resist. :)

She changed to the below stance then and was saying hugs. So, I figured well I guess she wanted to send everyone a big hug!! She is one of the best huggers in the family. That is for sure!

Jack's portrait of Me

So, Jack did a project at school where he drew me and wrote about me. Here is what he had to say. So sweet and sad at all the same time!! The fact that he thinks I am happy when I work. Poor kid! I just love Mother's Day for the projects that they do. Jack also made a candle holder for me. Which was very sweet too! You can click on the pic to make it bigger so you can read what he wrote. :)

Chicken Pox Chicken Pox GO AWAY...

Well if you hadn't heard all 3 of the kids broke out in the chicken pox. Yeah that has been good times in the house for me. But, the positive is at least they are done with it and we can move on. Down side is we can't go see my folks for Mother's Day out of fear that they could end up with Shingles. They definitely don't need that. Oh well! We will get thru as we do everything else. Whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. :)
