My neighbor also had a kids party on Friday night that we went to then and the kids played all kinds of games like bobbing for apples, scavenger hunt, pin the face on Jack (O-Lantern). It was very funny. Then on Saturday we took a ride in the country with Nama and Papa, so that they could get a puppy. Yep, you heard it here! My dad picked out a sweet little Yorkie Bischon Frieze. It is brown with straight hair. He is saying he is going to call it Maverick, but we are all trying to talk him out of that. He think it would be funny because we are not fans of McCain and Palin. I think it should be Mac, but we will see. This dog snuggled right into my dad's arm. It was really cute! He is 7 weeks old. He has something going on with his eye but the breeder is taking him to the vet to get it checked and then he will come stay with us for a couple weeks and then we will bring him down to my folks. Oh what fun they will have with him.
Reminded me of the Halloween parties I used to go to with my Hewitt Friends. Right down to TPing a house. Yes, you read that right. Jack and Meggan were very upset with us that we put toilet paper on some one's house. It was quite funny while we were doing it!!! But, Jack and Meggan did go out in the morning and help the kids clean it up, so that wasn't too bad. But they (meaning Jack and Meggan) did scold us for doing it. But, for the record we were not the only ones that did the TPing. :)
Of course now today as the day as gone on I have lost my voice. Yep, that is quite funny. Kids don't get where it went and keep asking me.

Your brother tells me you have moved up here to the promised land (a.k.a. the Fox Valley). Let me be neighborly to you and welcome you (even though you've been here for a while). I hope you enjoy it as much as the Anselments do.
Cheers,
Ken
